Arts and Culture Roundtable with Linda Woggon

2016 October 20: Ohio Citizens for the Arts from CultureForward

Linda Woggon, Executive Director of Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA) is seeking Cleveland's arts and culture community's counsel regarding the development of a state-level public policy agenda. Woggon will discuss the OCA's current work, including an overview of pending legislation at the state level concerning arts and culture.

Consider these questions and come armed with ideas for the discussion:

  • In what ways can government policy advance the work you do?
  • When do you feel government is a barrier to the work you do?
  • How is the community experiencing your work? How can governmental policy aid in making the work you create or do more accessible?
  • What are some ways you think government and residents can work better together?
