2009 Fellows
One of the most exciting moments of the Fellowship was its inaugural year in 2009. When applications were announced in January, the energy surrounding major opportunity was fueled by the fact that it was available for the support and growth artists living in Cuyahoga County. The community revealed that it understands and supports the benefits of individual creativity.
The following artists received the then unprecedented $20,000 awards. From the Heart Beat Drum Circle to the launch of a young designer's career, these artists have been able to use this funding to invest back into the community that supports them.
